Nordic Aquafarms’ parent company is considering getting out of the salmon business and converting its Fredrikstad Seafoods facility in Norway to raise yellowtail kingfish, a high-end fish commonly used in sushi. The company’s U.S. subsidiary has said it is sticking with its plan to raise Atlantic salmon in Belfast.
