Novel Jazz
Nothing says summer quite like eating a picnic dinner in the Camden Public Library’s Amphitheatre while enjoying the swinging sounds of live jazz. On Thursday, July 11, at 7 p.m., Novel Jazz will take the stage performing classics from the Great American Songbook. Novel Jazz is also known for performing rare gems from favorites like Duke Ellington and Billy Strayhorn and reinterpreting the songs with a 21st-century sound. The band members hail from all over Maine and perform regularly, with a mission of keeping jazz alive across the state.

All performances in Camden Public Library’s Summer Concert Series in the Amphitheatre are free and open to the public. Bring chairs or blankets for comfortable seating. The concert will be held rain or shine. If the weather turns wet, the concert will be moved indoors to the Reading Room.
