The Farnsworth Art Museum in Rockland will offer a workshop called “Animation: Stop Motion Magic Made Easy” on Tuesdays, March 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30, from 10 to 11 a.m. via Zoom. The instructor will be Portland-based teaching artist Casey Ledoux.

Participants will learn the basics of stop-motion animation using modeling clay, green-screen and sound effects, music and more, and how to use an editing app available on a smartphone.

The cost is $160; $145 for museum members.
