Our Power, a group of Maine ratepayers, business leaders, energy experts, conservationists and others — have cancelled their presentation at Harbor Park in Camden. They hope to reschedule to a future date.

Our Power, a group of Maine ratepayers, business leaders, energy experts, conservationists and others, will hold a presentation at Harbor Park in Camden about the citizen initiative to replace Central Maine Power and Versant with a local, nonprofit, consumer-owned utility on Wednesday, September 15, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.

Following the brief presentation, there will be an opportunity for questions and discussion, and attendees will learn ways to help put the proposal on the ballot by gathering signatures. State Representative Vicki Doudera and Senator Dave Miramant will be present.

Attendees are encouraged to bring a chair if they prefer not to sit on the grass. Nonalcoholic beverages will be available.
