In our February 7 issue, we ran an article about Patrisha McLean’s exhibition “Finding Our Voices, Breaking the Silence of Domestic Abuse” which opened at the Camden Public Library on February 14. On February 15, Don McLean’s lawyer Eric Morse sent us a letter with a demand to take down the online version of that article.

In this week’s Thursday editions of our sister publications — Courier-Gazette, Camden Herald and Republican Journal — there is a news story about those legal threats that includes a copy of the letter from Eric Morse on behalf of Don McLean to The Free Press, along with a copy of our response to that letter — copies of each are included here. And the original Feb. 7 article about the exhibit is also live online. So, go pick up a copy of one of those publications, or click the links above, and read all about it.
