Musician Nora Willauer, originally from Hope, has collaborated with a group of women to produce “Songs of #MeToo — A Prelude of Change,” an online performance that will debut at 7 p.m. on Friday, August 7, at songsofmetoo.com.

The performance will feature six documentary songs co-written with women who have experienced sexual misconduct and domestic violence. The songs are paired with the preludes to Bach’s six cello suites. Each piece was individually recorded by a different artist, including Martha Baldwin and Tanya Ell Woolfrey of the Cleveland Orchestra, cellist Amparo Lacruz of Spain, and Maine-based artists Alisa Amador, Hazel Delehey and Nora Willauer.

Proceeds will benefit the organization Documentary Songwriters and the Cleveland Rape Crisis Center.
