The Midcoast Women Collective Voices series will present “Working Across the Aisle” on Wednesday, February 13, from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. at the Rockport Opera House. The Rockport Public Library is a co-sponsor of the program. A bipartisan panel of current and past legislators who served together in the 127th and 128th legislatures will share stories about working across the aisle, including why they do it and what it takes to surmount the obstacles. The featured storytellers include Representative Pinny Beebe-Center, former Representative Ellie Espling, Senator Erin Herbig, and former Senator Joyce Maker. The one-hour program will be followed by a Q&A moderated by Pam Maus, co-founder of Midcoast Women. The Collective Voices series is free and open to the public.
