The Lincoln County Regional Planning Commission and the Lincoln County Emergency Management Agency are working to update the Lincoln County Hazard Mitigation Plan and are asking for participation from residents, organizations and businesses to provide their thoughts about areas susceptible to natural disasters and potential actions to mitigate them.

The plan is updated once every five years and makes municipalities eligible for Federal Emergency Management Agency Hazard Mitigation grants.

Respondents can note areas prone to flooding during a storm, needed maps or public education information, infrastructure projects or erosion control and conservation practices.
