Herbig, Jackson Plan Town Hall in Searsport
The “Fighting for Maine Agenda” —

Maine Senate President Troy Jackson, D-Allagash, and Sen. Erin Herbig, D-Belfast, will introduce the Fighting for Maine Agenda at a town hall meeting at Searsport First Congregational Church, 8 Church Street, on Tuesday, December 3, at 6:30 p.m. The meeting will feature brief comments from lawmakers and extended time for questions and answers. All are welcome.
The Fighting for Maine Agenda outlines a plan whose stated aim is to improve the lives of Maine families, workers, seniors, businesses and communities in the upcoming legislative session.
The agenda includes six objectives:
• Addressing the health care system
• Standing up for Maine workers and businesses
• Providing property tax relief
• Protecting Maine families
• Continuing proud traditions
• Working toward energy independence
