Maine AllCare (MAC), which promotes the establishment of publicly funded health care coverage for all Maine residents, is holding a series of meetings with state legislators regarding the prospects for health care legislation in 2019.

On Saturday, February 16, at 2 p.m., the Lincoln County chapter of MAC will host a meeting at Central Lincoln County YMCA, 525 Main Street in Damariscotta, with Reprepresentatives Holly Stover, Jeff Hanley, Chloe Maxmim and Jeff Evangelos. All area representatives are also invited.

On Tuesday, February 26, at 7 p.m. at Camden Public Library, Maine AllCare’s executive direcor, Phil Bailey, will speak about universal health care and what can be done in Maine to have a health care system that works.

On Thursday, February 28, at 6 p.m., the Rockland area MAC chapter will host a meeting at First Universalist Church, 345 Broadway in Rockland, with State Senator David Miramant and Representatives Pinny-Beebe Center, Bill Pluecker and Vickie Doudera. Other area reps are also invited.
