The Maine Forest Service will offer a public, online overview and demonstration of the new Forest Online Resource Tool, called FOResT, on Wednesday, January 6, at 8 a.m. There will be time for questions.

Forest Operations Notifications will transition to FOResT this month. The notification database for harvest activity in Maine helps the Maine Forest Service develop and advocate for activities that encourage the sound, long-term management of Maine’s forests and will provide reliable, timely and accurate information about forest resources beginning in January.

Future sessions will begin at 8 a.m. on the following Wednesdays: January 20, February 3 and 17 and March 3, 17 and 31. All sessions will be recorded for those who are unable to attend or would like to review the content.
