Topsl Farm and the Waldo Theatre will offer three Films at the Farm events on Thursdays and Fridays in July and August. Shown will be “The Princess Bride” on July 2 and 3; “Napoleon Dynamite” on July 30 and 31; and “Hidden Figures” on August 6 and 7. The outdoor, picnic-blanket screenings will be held at Topsl Farm, located at 365 Bremen Road.

Topsl treats and snacks will be available for purchase on Thursday nights, and fried chicken dinners will be sold as a picnic option for Friday-night audiences. No outside food will be permitted.

Reservations are by donation to cover the cost of film licensing. Any additional funds raised by the first two showings will benefit the Waldo Theatre renovation capital campaign. All donations beyond the cost of “Hidden Figures” licensing will benefit the Black Lives Matter Global Network.

Tickets are available online for a pay-what-you-wish donation; visit waldotheatre.org. Audience size will be limited to 45 in order to stay within Maine CDC guidelines. Viewers are advised to arrive beginning at 6:30 p.m.; films will start as soon as it is sufficiently dark. Masks are required beyond individual “parking spots.”

Rain dates will be offered on the same weekends: Thursday films on Sunday and Friday films on Saturday (no film July 4).
