The Portland Museum of Art’s PMA Films at Home series continues. Partnering with exhibitors and distributors, they are renting first-run content to the public; a portion of proceeds benefits the museum. Some selections are paired with bonus content such as live question-and-answer sessions or filmmaker interviews.

Newly available on the site is “Just One of Those Things,” directed by Leslie Woodhead, which uses never-before-seen images and unheard interviews to bring Ella Fitzgerald to life and to tell the story of her music. Still accessible is “The Painter and the Thief.” Desperate for answers about the theft of two of her paintings, a Czech artist seeks out and befriends the career criminal who stole them.
