Rockland’s Strand Theatre continues to offer films for streaming from its website. Those who buy virtual tickets will have several days to watch the films. The Strand receives half of ticket proceeds to help weather the economic impacts of the pandemic.

Among the films available throughout February, the Australian film “Rams,” directed by Jeremy Sims and featuring Sam Neill and Miranda Richardson, involves two estranged brothers who are raising separate flocks of sheep descended from their family’s prized bloodline. The illness of a prize ram sets the stage for the brothers to set aside their differences and reunite their family, save their herd and bring their community back together — if they only will.

“Cowboys” is a modern Western directed by Anna Kerrigan, starring Steve Zahn as Troy, a troubled but well-intentioned father who has recently separated from his wife Sally. Aghast at Sally’s refusal to let their transgender son live as his authentic self, Troy runs off with Joe into the Montana wilderness. A police detective pursues them, but her resolve is tested the more she learns about Joe’s family.

“Two of Us,” a French drama directed by Filippo Meneghetti, features Barbara Sukowa and Martine Chevallier as retired women who have been secretly in love for decades. Everybody thinks they are simply neighbors, sharing the top floor of their building. They come and go between their two apartments, enjoying the affection and pleasures of daily life together, until an unforeseen event turns their relationship upside down. A prerecorded, post-film discussion with Barbara Sukowa and Isabelle Huppert follows the film. Available February 5.
