Tickets are available for the 2019–2020 season of The Met: Live in HD at the Strand Theatre, 345 Main Street, Rockland. The Metropolitan Opera’s series of high-definition cinema simulcasts will be transmitted live from the Met stage on Saturdays at 12:55 p.m. The Strand will present re-broadcasts on following Tuesdays. Simulcast dates are: Turandot (October 12); Manon (October 26); Madama Butterfly (November 9); Akhnaten (November 23); Wozzeck (January 11); Porgy and Bess (February 1); Agrippina (February 29); Der Fliegende Holla¨nder (March 14); Tosca (April 11); and Maria Stuarda (May 9). Tickets for live broadcasts are $27 for adults, $15 for students, including college students with identification. Encore performance tickets are $23 for adults, $20 for Strand members and $5 for students, and are sold only on the day of the showing at the box office one hour prior to the performance.
