Lincoln Theater, 2 Theater Street, Damariscotta, will host the 2019–2020 season of The Met: Live in HD. The Metropolitan Opera’s series of high-definition cinema simulcasts will be transmitted live from the Met stage on Saturdays at 1 p.m. Simulcast dates are: Turandot (October 12) — an encore screening Saturday, October 19, at 1 p.m. will include a pre-opera talk by Dr. Morton Achter at 11:45 a.m.; Manon (October 26); Madama Butterfly (November 9); Akhnaten (November 23) — with pre-opera talk by Dr. Achter at 11:45; Wozzeck (January 11) — with pre-opera talk by Dr. Achter at 11:45; Porgy and Bess (February 1) — with pre-opera talk by Dr. Achter at 11:45; Agrippina (February 29); Der Fliegende Holländer (March 14); Tosca (April 11); and Maria Stuarda (May 9).
