September 13: New England, a 600-foot Irving Oil tanker, arrived in Searsport from Saint John, N.B., and delivered 50,000 barrels of diesel and 30,000 barrels of No. 2 heating oil. It sailed later that day returning to Saint John.
September 15: STI Esles II, a 601-foot oil and chemical tanker, arrived in Bucksport from Montreal and delivered 135,000 barrels of No. 2 heating oil. It sailed September 16 for Riverhead, N.Y.
Cape Henry and DBL?104, a tug and fuel barge, arrived in Searsport from Saint John, N.B., and delivered ethanol, quantity unknown. It sailed September 17 for New York.
September 21: Bulk Newport, a 623-foot bulk carrier, arrived in Searsport from Ponta Ubu, Brazil, and delivered about 50,000 tons of slag.
Expected Arrivals:
September 25 or 26 – New England, to Searsport, delivering 45,000 barrels of diesel.
September 29 (delayed, new arrival date) – Shelter Island, to Searsport from Chile, delivering 52,000 tons of road salt.
October 1 – Acadian, to Searsport, delivering 90,000 barrels of gasoline, 80,000 barrels of diesel and 45,000 barrels of No. 2 heating oil.
