October 6: Daisy Mae, a tug with barge, arrived in Searsport from New York and loaded scrap metal for an undisclosed U.S. East Coast location.
Noreaster, a 603-foot Irving Oil tanker, arrived in Searsport from Portland and delivered 70,000 barrels of diesel and 55,000 barrels of No. 2 heating oil. It sailed October 7 for Saint John, N.B., location of the Irving Oil refinery.
October 7: Tanja, a 606-foot bulk carrier, arrived in Searsport from Portland and delivered kaolin clay slurry, a glossy paper coating. It sailed October 9 for Vila do Conde, Brazil.
October 12: Chemical Pioneer, a 662-foot chemical tanker, arrived in Searsport from Wilmington, Delaware, and delivered caustic soda. It sailed October 13 for New York.
October 14: Iver Prosperity, a 603-foot Irving Oil tanker, arrived in Bucksport and delivered 77,000 barrels of jet fuel.
October 17: Cape Henry, a tug with fuel barge, arrived in Searsport from Saint John, N.B., and delivered 100,000 barrels of gasoline. It sailed October 18 for New York.
October 18: NH Erle, a 601-foot oil tanker, arrived in Searsport from Portland and delivered 35,000 barrels of kerosene.
Expected Arrivals:
October 19 – Iver Prosperity returns to Searsport with 44,000 barrels of diesel.
October 24-26 – Cape Henry returns to Searsport with 14,000 barrels of ethanol.
