July 18: Chemical Pioneer, a 662-foot chemical tanker, arrived in Searsport from Jacksonville, Florida, and delivered caustic soda. It sailed July 19 for New York.

July 20: Noreaster, a 603-foot Irving Oil tanker, arrived in Searsport from Boston and delivered petroleum fuel, type not available. It sailed July 21 for Saint John, N.B., home of the Irving refinery, and returned to Searsport with another fuel delivery on July 26.

July 22: The Amigo, a 437-foot oil/chemical tanker, arrived in Searsport from Boston and delivered asphalt. It sailed July 23 for Saint John, N.B.

July 23: Atlanticborg, a 468-foot general cargo ship, arrived in Searsport from Sundsvall, Sweden, and delivered baled wood pulp. It sailed July 24 for Albany, N.Y.
