December 29: Denali, a New York–based tug with fuel barge, arrived in Searsport from Portsmouth, N.H., and delivered 60,000 barrels of diesel. It sailed December 30 for Portland.
January 1: Great Eastern, a 600-foot Irving Oil tanker, arrived in Bucksport from Portland and delivered 38,000 barrels of jet fuel. It sailed January 2 for Saint John, N.B.
Noreaster, a 603-foot Irving Oil tanker, arrived in Searsport from Saint John, N.B., and delivered 10,000 barrels of gasoline and 65,000 barrels of No. 2 heating oil. It sailed January 2 for Providence, R.I.
January 7: Amis Wisdom II, a 656-foot bulk carrier, arrived in Searsport from Patache, Chile, and delivered 52,000 tons of road salt.
Great Eastern, a 600-foot Irving Oil tanker, returned to Searsport via Boston and delivered 89,000 barrels of gasoline and 38,000 barrels of diesel. It sailed January 8 for Saint John, N.B.
January 9: Chesapeake Coast, a Maryland-based tug with fuel barge, arrived in Searsport from New York, and delivered 30,000 barrels of No. 6 oil. It sailed January 10 for Norfolk, Virginia.
Expected Arrivals:
January 20 — tanker to be named, to Bucksport with No. 2 oil.
Januray 21 — tanker to be named, to Searsport with gasoline, diesel and No. 2 oil.
