December 5: Denali, a New York–based tug with fuel barge, arrived in Searsport from Boston and delivered 15,000 barrels of ethanol.

Tanja, a 606-foot bulk carrier, arrived in Searsport from Portland and delivered kaolin clay slurry, a glossy paper coating. It sailed December 7 for Port Hawkesbury, N.S., home of Port Hawkesbury Paper.

December 8: Lady Margaret, a 575-foot bulk carrier, arrived in Searsport from New York and loaded 19,000 tons of scrap metal. It sailed December 9 for Veracruz, Mexico.

Great Eastern, a 600-foot Irving Oil tanker, arrived in Searsport from Boston and delivered 95,000 barrels of gasoline, 45,000 barrels of heating oil and 45,000 barrels of diesel. It sailed December 10 for Saint John, N.B., home of the Irving Oil Refinery.

Expected Arrivals:

December 14-15 – SBI Subaru, to Searsport from El Dekheila, Egypt, delivering 50,000 tons of road salt.

December 15 – Albanyborg, to Searsport from Albany, N.Y., delivering baled wood pulp. The wood pulp originated in Sweden. Part of the load was discharged in Albany, N.Y.
