Wednesday, January 13 — When this day begins at midnight, the New Moon will be taking place. The Sun, Moon and Pluto are as close together as possible (all are conjunct) at 23 degrees of Capricorn. This is a no-nonsense, 29.5-day cycle for all of us globally. There is a focus on governance, and things are more disruptive federally and locally than we thought they could be. Capricorn is all about reputation, power, leadership, accomplishments, being productive and keeping up one’s image as a respectful, reliable human being. Pluto, joining the Sun and Moon, demands an archaeological dig into the truth. Are we living up to our standards of ethical behavior? Is your word to be trusted? What resentments are you holding that could be forgiven in order to be free and happy in this present moment? Plutonian demandingness lasts until the next New Moon on February 11, which will also be personally disruptive. Mars and Saturn have been in a frustrating aspect since Sunday; the obstacles and delays brought on by this aspect will end today at 9 a.m. Venus is in a positive aspect with Uranus until midnight. Making new friends is indicated. The Moon will be conjunct Jupiter in Aquarius from 8 to 10 p.m., which will uplift and expand your perspective on life. We will not be able to see this bright conjunction tonight, which occurs once a month.

Thursday, January 14 — The Moon is conjunct Mercury in Aquarius from 2:30 to 4:30 a.m., offering you some worthwhile, unusual ideas. The Sun and Pluto end their intense conjunction at 8 p.m. This aspect began on Monday and can be credited with your emotional upsets, which can draw you nearer to healing your past. Pluto is never a lightweight influence. We can expect inventions to be announced. Uranus turns direct, having been retrograde since mid- August 2020.

Friday, January 15 — Today is Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.’s birthday. He was born in 1929. King, who inspired so many, must never be forgotten. We celebrate his life on Monday, January 18, which was declared a national holiday by President Ronald Reagan. The energy today is high with hope, and a resolve to never give up when you’re standing tall on your principles. The Moon enters Pisces at 5:15 p.m. increasing sensitivity and further developing your psychic awareness. I’ve noticed that many people tend to cry easily when the Moon is in Pisces. The Moon in Pisces will be nicely aspecting Mars in Taurus from 11:30 p.m. until 1:30 a.m. You might find yourself playing music prayerfully, bringing comfort and emotional healing for yourself and those you are concerned about.

Saturday, January 16 — Jupiter has been in a challenging aspect with Uranus since January 10. This aspect is known to offer interesting financial possibilities. Do research before jumping to sign anything legally — this aspect will increase impulsivity. It usually brings circumstances for adventures, but probably not this year. Instead, perhaps you will invent a financially successful, educational, fun board game for families to play together. You’ve got to be thinking out of the box these days and this aspect with Jupiter and Uranus can become a great benefit for you financially. Relaxing while enjoying your favorite food is recommended between 10 a.m. and noon while the Moon in Pisces is nicely aspecting Venus in Capricorn. Jupiter is aspecting both Uranus and Mars in Taurus. Be well organized and pay attention to what you’re doing. Avoid getting distracted. This aspect can be considered accident prone if you’re overly ambitious and enthusiastic. This aspect is with us until Wednesday.

Sunday, January 17 — Mars and Uranus are conjunct and are speeding you up. They are in a challenging aspect with Jupiter, as mentioned yesterday. Be careful. Slow down and watch out while driving. This aspect will bring out the rebel in you. There is also a good side to this aspect — you’re able to think of a future that serves humanity, with hope for all of us. You’re bored with your routine and want to act spontaneously. A relaxed, content few hours will occur from 8:45 to 10:45 p.m. while the Moon in Pisces is favorably aspecting the Sun in Capricorn. We all need to relax more.

Monday, January 18 — It’s Martin Luther King Jr. Day. I’m sure there will be excerpts from his inspired speeches on the radio. As you can tell, he is one of my heroes. Jupiter is still in a challenging aspect with Mars and Uranus in Taurus. Besides what I’ve already said, this aspect will speed up your nervous system and your mind. This is considered an ideal aspect for race car drivers who love to compete professionally. Some difficult aspects are coming up today that will last until Thursday due to the energetics operating among Jupiter, Mars, Uranus and some other planets.

Tuesday, January 19 — Today is pretty much the same as yesterday, except that the Sun will enter Aquarius at 3:40 p.m. until February 18. Now is the time for inventive geniuses to share their knowledge. Intuition is stronger with the Sun in Aquarius. Conversations will be lively from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. while the Moon in Aries is in a positive aspect with Mercury in Aquarius. Ideas come fast while speaking with a good friend. Again, be careful and alert, and avoid recklessness.
