August 28: Denali, a New York–based tug with fuel barge, arrived in Searsport from Portsmouth, N.H., and delivered 75,000 barrels of kerosene. It sailed later that day for Portland.

August 29: Acadian, a 600-foot Irving Oil tanker, arrived in Bucksport from Portland and delivered 45,000 barrels of jet fuel. It sailed August 30 for Saint John, N.B., home of the Irving refinery.

August 30: Noreaster, a 603-foot Irving Oil tanker, arrived in Searsport from Saint John, N.B. and delivered 45,000 barrels of gasoline and 50,000 barrels of diesel. It sailed August 31 for Providence, R.I.

September 4 — BBC Topaz, to Searsport from Vancouver, B.C., delivering windmill blades.

September 5 — Cape Henry, to Searsport from Portland, delivering ethanol.

September 11 — Iver Prosperity, to Searsport from Saint John, N.B., delivering 50,000 barrels of diesel and 30,000 barrels of No. 2 heating oil.

September 15 — Bulk Newport, to Searsport from Ponta Ubu, Brazil, delivering about 50,000 tons of slag.

September 23 — Shelter Island, to Searsport from Chile, delivering about 50,000 tons of road salt.
