September 25: New England, a 600-foot Irving Oil tanker, arrived in Searsport from Saint John, N.B., home of the Irving Refinery, and delivered 69,000 barrels of gasoline and 45,000 barrels of diesel. On September 26, it continued to Bucksport and delivered 45,000 barrels of jet fuel, then sailed September 27 for Boston.

October 1: Shelter Island, a 656-foot bulk carrier, arrived in Searsport from Patillos, Chile, and delivered 52,000 tons of road salt.

October 2: Cape Henry, a tug with fuel barge, arrived in Searsport from New York and delivered 20,000 barrels of ethanol.
