January 21: Cape Canaveral, a New York–based tug with fuel barge, arrived in Searsport from Portland, cargo unknown. It sailed January 22 for Saint John, N.B.

January 23: Great Eastern, a 600-foot Irving Oil tanker, arrived in Searsport from Saint John, N.B., and delivered 90,000 barrels of gasoline, 110,000 barrels of No. 2 heating oil and 45,000 barrels of ultra-low-sulfur diesel. It sailed January 24, returning to Saint John, location of the Irving refinery.

January 28: New England, a 600-foot Irving Oil tanker, arrived in Bucksport from Boston and delivered 88,000 barrels of No. 2 heating oil. It sailed later that day for Saint John, N.B.

February 2: Waalborg, a 350-foot general cargo ship, arrived in Searsport from Oxelosund, Denmark, and delivered 3,000 tons of wood pulp. It was scheduled to sail on February 4.
