— TITLE ONE TEACHER —

St. George School is a community-centered K-8 public school located in picturesque midcoast Maine. We are committed to academic excellence, community engagement, Expeditionary Learning, and teachers working in teams to innovate, educate, and develop as professionals. We are looking for an educator to oversee our Title One program in the areas of reading and mathematics. This person will (1) plan and deliver supplemental reading and math interventions to students identified for Title One services, (2) supervise educational technicians delivering individualized programming to Title One students, and (3) support classroom instructional programs and professional development. The Title One Teacher will be a member of the Special Services Team that is composed of the Superintendent/504 Coordinator, Special Education Administrative Assistant, Special Education Teacher, Early Elementary RTI/Special Education Interventionist, Speech/Language Specialist, School Nurse, and School Social Worker. We need an innovative educator who can collaborate closely with classroom teachers, understands how to use data to inform instruction, can deliver individualized instruction to students, and excels at communicating with students, families, and staff. Bridges Home Services is currently hiring in Lincoln County.
We are looking for reliable, mature, and caring candidates that would like to make a difference in the lives of seniors and adults with disabilities. By becoming a Personal Support Specialist for Bridges, you are part of a network of professionals and caregivers all working together to help our consumers maintain their independence. Candidates need to have reliable transportation and a positive work ethic. While assisting our consumers with their daily needs, PSSs are required to help with personal care and hygiene, toileting, meal prep, and light housekeeping. Our Personal Support Specialists work independently out in the field and are supported by the Regional Coordinator that supervises their area. While experience is preferred, we provide training for new hires through orientation, job shadows and a reimbursed Personal Support Specialist Certification course. Our staff are per diem, with up to 40 hours a week available. Shifts vary between 2- 8 hours each depending on the client, with paid travel in between homes. Shifts are available for weekends, evenings and overnights as well as daytimes. Benefits include competitive pay starting at $10.50/hr.-$12.00/hr., $1.00/hour weekend shift differential, PSS Course reimbursement, discounted AAA and heating oil, access to Health Insurance after 1 year, referral bonuses and other incentives.
