Updated state COVID-19 prevention checklists have been posted for seated food and drink service and day and overnight camps as part of the Moving Maine Forward Plan, which aims to provide clarity and predictability in advance of the summer months and to establish Maine as a safe place to visit. They are effective immediately.

The Seated Food and Drink Service Checklist permits buffets and self-service food stations and allows bar areas within restaurants to remain open after the kitchen closes for dining patrons. Bars and tasting rooms are now permitted to open for indoor service.

The guidance for day and overnight camps has been updated to allow overnight camps of all sessions and lengths to operate and encourages camps to develop a COVID-19 testing strategy.
