Coastal Family Hospice Volunteers (CFHV) and MaineHealth Care at Home are forming a peer support group for anyone coping with the loss of a loved one.

The group is open to the community at large as well as families of hospice patients. Many find that gathering with others who have experienced a similar loss can be helpful and healing. It’s an opportunity to give and receive compassion, comfort and support.

The group will meet for eight weeks on Thursdays, December 5 to January 23, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. There is no charge for participation, but registration is required.

For more information or to register, call CFHV at 230-0042.
