Kyle Byrnes and KC Heyniger will introduce WindowDressers on Tuesday, November 19, at 6 p.m. at Rockland Public Library. The organization brings volunteers together to produce low-cost insulating window inserts that function as interior-mounted storm windows. The speakers will explain what window inserts are, how they are made, and how they can keep houses warmer during cold weather. Refreshments will be provided.

AmeriCorps volunteer Byrnes is energy efficiency coordinator for WindowDressers and acts as a lead measurer and scheduler.

WindowDressers production manager Heyniger works with volunteers producing inserts at WindowDressers’ Lincoln Street Center production facility in Rockland and coordinates supplies distribution to 35 WindowDressers workshops throughout Maine.
