Camden Garden Club members and friends (shown) have again decorated town lamp posts in holiday greenery. The club’s tradition of holiday decorating began 69 years ago. Originally, baskets held evergreens and red berries; for a few years, small decorated trees were featured. Red bows and white lights have been the preferred embellishment since the 1990s.

Camden Garden Club welcomes guests and prospective members to monthly meetings held April through October at First Congregational Church in Camden. The club also hosts a winter horticulture series at Camden Public Library in January and February. For more information, visit camdengardenclub.org or email camdengardenclub100@gmail.com.
