Camden Farmers’ Market will open for the season on Saturday, May 11, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Tannery Park location, 116 Washington Street. Marketgoers can dine on Uproot Pie Co. pizza and breakfast bialys at picnic tables or take a walk along the river trail.

ScrapDogs Community Compost has joined the Saturday market membership and will be providing information about composting services to the Camden area as well as finished compost and dog treats made from food waste. Otherwise, the market’s membership remains the same and includes Oyster Creek Mushrooms, Hubbard Brook Farm, Atlantic Baking Company, Commonwealth Farm, Brae Maple Farm, Bahner Farm, Peacemeal Farm, Fuzzy Udder Creamery, Brazen Baking, A Small Good, Frontier Sugarworks and On the Mountain Farm.

The Wednesday markets will begin in mid-June.
