Monday, May 27, 11 a.m., will mark Lincoln County Historical Association’s 65th annual observance of Memorial Day. Participants will gather at the flagpole on the parade ground of the Pownalborough Court House, 23 Courthouse Road, in Dresden. Masonic Chaplain Bruce Alexander, assisted by the local Revolutionary War Living History group, will lead the program.

The Court House will be open to the public free of charge shortly after the ceremony for tours of the historic building. Admission is $5 per adult; children under 16, LCHA members, and Dresden residents, free. For more information, visit lincolncountyhistory.org or call Jay Robbins, 737-2239.
