The Knox County Health Clinic is holding a 20th birthday party open to the public on Saturday, July 20, from 4 to 8:30 p.m. at MacDougal Community Park, 330 Broadway in Rockland. The festivities will include dancing with the Hoodoo Man Band and lawn games for kids and adults. There will be food and drink from Hotdog Mafia, Baxter Brewing and Cellardoor Winery, as well as nonalcoholic beverages. There is no rain date, but there will be a tent. For more information, call Meredith at 301-6991.

Since its founding in 1999, the clinic has provided 32,000 free or low-cost medical, dental, and mental health and wellness visits to Knox County residents. It has also helped hundreds obtain access to free or affordable medications. This event recognizes the clinic’s 20 years of work and all who have made it a success.
