Carver Memorial Library in Searsport will hold several events in the coming weeks.

“Crafternoon” will be offered on Thursday, September 19, at 3:30 p.m. All are invited to bring knitting, mending or craft projects to an afternoon of handwork and socializing.

Tech Topics, to be held on Tuesday, September 24, at 3:30 p.m., will offer an opportunity for attendees to ask questions about different technologies and suggest future programs on specific technology topics.

At the library’s Garden Work Party on Thursday, September 26, from 1:30 to 5:30 p.m., Liz Stanley of University of Maine Extension will offer a pruning demonstration. Attendees will help prepare the library garden for fall and create a new perennial bed. The library would appreciate donations of black plastic sheeting, a hose, and a garden bench.
