The galleries and office at Waterfall Arts in Belfast will be closed until Monday, April 27, in response to CDC guidelines, and in alignment with the RSU 71 school board, concerning the spread of COVID-19.

All Waterfall Arts classes, events, workshops, youth programming and drop-in open studios will be suspended. Staff will reach out to registered students to process refunds or communicate rescheduled dates. Those who are receiving private lessons from studio tenants should contact them directly for any schedule changes or cancellations. The center will communicate directly with renters and studio subscribers to discuss building access.

Waterfall Arts will be offering online programming via their existing Facebook and Instagram pages, as well as providing resources for families with youth at home on the Facebook page “Bridge: Young Artists Connecting.”

On the Bridge Facebook page, parents and children can find daily prompts for drawing, Pinterest boards for simple projects, age-appropriate videos, links to virtual museums, and more. Bridget Matros will also be answering questions for parents looking for advice.
