University of Maine at Augusta (UMA) Rockland Center has opened registration for the spring semester (January 21 through May 8). Registration for students currently enrolled in a UMA degree program began on November 4; new students may register beginning Tuesday, November 12.

UMA Rockland offers more than 30 college degree and certificate programs. Hundreds of courses are offered through the Rockland Center in a variety of modalities, including face-to-face, interactive television, web conferencing and online.

The center offers the Pine Tree State Pledge — which guarantees free tuition to qualifying applicants — to new, full-time, in-state students and part-time transfer students who are Pell Grant eligible.

The High School Aspirations program at the school allows local juniors and seniors to take courses at the center tuition free and earn university credits that also fulfill high school requirements.
