Coastal Senior College will offer classes at various locations in Knox and Lincoln counties beginning in February; registration for the winter trimester opened January 6. The cost of yearly membership is $25; courses are $35 each.
The seven winter term courses include:
“War and Peace in the Balkans: Cold War, Ethnic Conflict, and the Return of Russia,” with Louis Sell; “Form in Nature and Design,” with Arnie Aho; “The Alcott Family: Little Women and So Much More,” with Jayne Gordon; “Optimizing Brain Health: Good News From Evidence-Based Science,” with Steve Raymond; “Jane Austen for Adults,” with Maryann Ward; “The Worst Are Still ‘Full of Passionate Intensity,’ Right?” with John Ward; and “Yes We Can! Meet Everyone’s Needs and Save the Planet, Too,” with Paul Kando.
