Waldo County residents are invited to submit a two-dimensional or hangable three-dimensional creation — including but not limited to paintings, drawings, photography, collage, sculpture, poetry and essays — about domestic abuse for an exhibit called “Finding Our Voices, Waldo County Breaks the Silence” to be held in June.

The deadline for submissions is May 5. Submissions are to be brought to Waterfall Arts, located at 256 High Street, Belfast; the application, as well as drop-off dates and times, can be found at findingourvoices.net.

Works will be exhibited at the Belfast Free Library as well as at more than 40 downtown businesses.

For more information, email Patrisha McLean at hello@findingourvoices.net. Finding Our Voices is a Camden-based nonprofit working to raise awareness about domestic violence.
