“What’s Nude in Boothbay Harbor?: A Celebration of the Human Form” will open at Studio 53, Townsend Avenue in Boothbay Harbor, on Thursday, February 14, and run through Saturday, February 23. An opening reception will be held Saturday, February 16, from 4 to 6 p.m. According to the show’s sponsors — the Boothbay Harbor Region Chamber of Commerce and Studio 53 — “What’s Nude” will endeavor to present the beauty and shape of the human form through paintings, paper work, sculpture and photography. Artists are invited to submit two pieces of work to the show.
