Kim Fleming is succeeding Martha Piscuskas as the new executive director of Waterfall Arts, a nonprofit community arts center in Belfast. Piscuskas stepped down in February. A resident of Belfast, Fleming has served as development director at the Boys & Girls Clubs and YMCA at the Alfond Youth Center (Waterville), the Maine Women’s Lobby (Augusta), the Maine Women’s Policy Center (Augusta), and Penobscot Marine Museum (Searsport). Waterfall Arts offers resources to students, professionals and arts enthusiasts of all ages, including classes, exhibitions, art events, performances, open community studios (clay, print, and darkroom photography), public art projects, and more.
