Rockland Public Library is looking for local artists and crafters to make take-home craft kits. The library has been handing out grab-and-go craft bags for local youth twice a month since October and would like to provide additional kits for those of all ages.

Prior kits have involved making “stained glass” butterflies out of lighting gels and contact paper; weaving a small blanket for toys; making a “standing” owl out of a paper bag; and an adult Valentine craft.

Email Children’s Librarian Katie Drago at kdrago@rocklandmaine.gov by April 12 with a description of kit ideas, as well as any questions.
