Boothbay, Cushing, Gibbs, Hope, Liberty, Vose and Waldoboro public libraries will host a free virtual exhibit, called “The Museum of Bad Art: Dopplehangers — Intentionally or Not, They Resemble Famous People,” on Wednesday, April 14, from 6 to 7 p.m., via Zoom. Michael Frank, chief curator and Boston-based musician and entertainer, will preside.

The Museum of Bad Art collects, exhibits and celebrates art that will be seen in no other venue. Since 1993, the curators have collected art from thrift stores, yard sales, sidewalk trash and from artists. They analyze the works, compare them to classic art and share them with fans around the world.

To register, email debra@voselibrary.org prior to 3 p.m. on the day of the event. For more information, call 785-4733.
