During January and February at Dowling Walsh Gallery, 365 Main Street in Rockland, Connie Hayes will draw 100 portraits of people from a cross section of the community. The performative drawing project is intended to create a visual dialogue and representation of the area through the artist’s work. Each drawing will be available for $100, with one hundred percent of the proceeds given to an organization chosen by the subject of the drawing.
