Paintings by members of the Mid Coast Art Guild are on display in the Kramer Gallery of Belfast Free Library during May. The show’s “Weathered and Worn” theme prompted members to try to entertain viewers. Guild members vary in painting experience and meet weekly during the school year to improve skill levels together. Because Memorial Day falls while the exhibit is on display, a painting intended to honor veterans, “The Way We Were” by Nancy Blatz of Monroe, is included in the show.
