The MaineMadeMusic series and Jazz in June will present saxophonist, pianist, arranger and composer Wayne DeLano (left) and his jazz quartet at Camden Opera House on Friday, January 17, at 7:30 p.m. Composer and keyboardist Tom Luther (right) will open the show with a short set on piano. DeLano (sax, piano), David Clarke (guitar), Duane Edwards (bass) and Michael Heatley (drums) will perform both traditional bebop and modern jazz, including music by DeLano, Don Grolnick, Rick Margitza, Kenny Garrett, Charlie Parker, Dexter Gordon and more. General-admission, no-fee tickets are $14 in advance, $16 day-of-show, available at camdenoperahouse.com, by calling 236-3154 and at box office an hour before the show. Restaurant 40 Paper will offer a cash bar before the show and during intermission.
