Rick Springfield (pictured) will perform at Savage Oakes Vineyard and Winery, Barret Hill Road in Union, on Friday, August 30, at 7 p.m. as part of the vineyard’s summer concert series. Springfield is the creator of some of the power pop of the ’80s, a Grammy-winning singer, songwriter and musician who has sold 25 million albums and scored many U.S. Top 40 hits, including “Jessie’s Girl,” “Don’t Talk to Strangers,” “An Affair of the Heart,” “I’ve Done Everything for You,” “Love Somebody” and “Human Touch.” Tickets go on sale Saturday, March 23, at 10 a.m. The Savage Oakes music venue offers an intimate outdoor concert experience.
