The Noon Music in Lent series at St. Thomas’ Episcopal Church, 33 Chestnut Street in Camden, continues on Friday, March 15, with vocalist Kathryn DerMarderosian, who will present a program entitled “From Bethlehem to Calvary” about the life of Jesus through a montage of songs, poems and readings. DerMarderosian has performed as a soloist across genres in the United States and abroad, and most recently with the Boston Symphony Orchestra as a member of the Tanglewood Festival Chorus. She currently teaches voice at Bay Chamber Music School in Rockport, and is a member of the St. Thomas’ Episcopal Church Choir. Noon Music in Lent is a free program of a half hour of music in the church starting at noon, followed by a free lunch of homemade soup, bread and fruit in the parish hall. All are welcome. In 2019, free-will offerings will be given to the Camden Area Christian Food Pantry. The church is handicapped-accessible at the Wood Street entrance.
