Midcoast Community Chorus on Hiatus
Tuesday, July 28, 2020 1:59 PM
Midcoast Community Chorus suspended operations on July 15. Guidance from health and choral experts suggests that COVID-19 will continue to preclude group singing and concerts for some time.
The group intends to resume operations when they believe it is safe to do so. MCC’s board of directors will continue to oversee the organization and maintain its office on Bayview Street in Camden and its website and Facebook page.
MCC will fulfill its 2020 commitment to support the work of a local nonprofit organization by donating $5,000 to its current beneficiary, the Ripple Initiative, whose mission is to identify and address community needs that are often not met by other programs.
