Midcoast Actors Studio in Belfast has received a $5,000 organizational development grant from the Maine Arts Commission. The nonprofit was founded in 2012 and has a theater at 137 Church Street.

“This grant will help our rebranding,” said Jason Bannister, artistic director, in a news release. “After 10 years of being Midcoast Actors Studio, we’re changing our name to Midcoast Theater Company to better reflect our mission. We’ll be working with a graphic designer and consultant on our new logo, marketing and online presence, as well as street signs for our theater building.”
