Maskers Plan 34th Season with The Bard, Ken Kesey
Tuesday, March 30, 2021 12:03 PM
The Belfast Maskers are now selling tickets for the shows to be featured in the community theater group’s 34th season.
The Maskers plan a reprise of Shakespeare’s comedy “As You Like It,” set in America in the ’60s, to open the season. The Maskers also plan performances of four one-act plays by Maine authors: “Little Women: The Broadway Musical,” based on Louisa May Alcott’s classic story; “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest”; and “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever.”
The layout of the Basil Burwell Community Theater allows performances either indoors or outdoors. State-mandated COVID-19 safety protocols and precautions at the time of performances will determine whether a show is performed inside or outside the theater.
